Founded in 2018 by two Pittsburgh natives & one D.C. transplant, Upstream Coding is redefining the coding bootcamp experience. We witnessed our city transform from a steel mecca to a now bustling technology hub with exponential growth. With this growth comes the need for developers who are able to utilize the latest mobile and web technologies to create business solutions. Team Upstream is dedicated to providing expert training in the most in-demand skill sets sought in today's job market.
Mission
We've worked as front-end engineers, web production managers and entrepreneurs. We recognized that the learn-to-code options in Pittsburgh missed the mark. We decided to start a good business that combined our experiences and helped people improve their lives. We started Upstream.

Upstream Coding is proud to make coding accessible to all. We support local efforts to further youth coding programs and provide scholarships to individuals that may not otherwise be able to learn these vital skills.
